PURPOSE - "Discography: 1994-2001" CD - $10.00
For fans of melodic/posthardcore (Ignite, Refused/At the Drive-In) Purpose's final recorded output "Discography: 1994-2001" catalogues all five records onto on CD plus a cover of Rite's of Spring's "For Want Of" and one previously unreleased song. Twenty seven songs mostly from out of print records, "Discography" is an excellent representation of the so-called golden era of New Brunswick, New Jersey hardcore punk. In keeping with the close-knit workings of New Jersey's hardcore scene, members of Purpose went on to form or join a slew of locally or nationally known bands, including Trahstalk in the Kingdom, Secret Photos, Rapid Cities, American Landscapes, the Break, Saves the Day, The Procedure, Thursday, Between the Wars, and many more, such that any music fan who has not yet heard Purpose has invariably heard the member's future recordings.
